Bollore has officially launched its electric car sharing service, BlueLA, in Los Angeles. This is the first US city to get the service, which is already operational in Paris, Bordeaux, and Lyon.
Here's how it works: users can sign up for the service online or via the BlueLA app. Once they're registered, they can reserve a car for a certain time period and unlock it using their smartphone. The cars can be returned to any BlueLA station in the city.
The service is currently available in two areas of LA: Downtown and Koreatown. Bollore plans to expand to other parts of the city in the future.
So far, the response from LA residents has been positive. In a recent survey, 70% of BlueLA users said they would recommend the service to others.
If you're looking for an affordable, convenient, and eco-friendly way to get around LA, BlueLA is definitely worth checking out.
