- The i5 is said to be a crossover between a sedan and an SUV, and it will have a range of over 310 miles on a single charge.
- The i5 is also said to be designed for " Level 3 " autonomous driving, meaning it will be able to handle all driving tasks under certain conditions, with a human driver still required to be present.
- The i5 is said to be part of BMW's plan to have 12 all-electric or hybrid models on the market by 2025.
