At just 26, Bhavesh Chaudhary was in a tough spot. While his friends were securing stable government jobs, Bhavesh found himself at a crossroads, jobless with only Rs 3000 in his pocket. Little did he know, this low point would be the foundation for a journey that would lead to the creation of a multi-crore business—Kasutam, a brand specializing in premium homemade A2 bilona ghee.
It all started with a personal quest for better health and a yearning to provide the best for his family. Growing up, Bhavesh was always exposed to the traditional benefits of A2 milk—a rare, pure form of milk that is believed to be much healthier than regular milk. His family, which had deep roots in traditional farming, encouraged him to explore natural ways of improving his lifestyle. He quickly realized that ghee, especially made in the bilona method (a traditional hand-churning process), could not only bring health benefits but also contribute to a growing market for high-quality, organic food products.
Despite starting with very little capital, Bhavesh was driven by passion. He tapped into his family's farming connections and sourced high-quality A2 milk from local cows, ensuring that the milk was free from hormones and antibiotics. The next step was perfecting the bilona process, a method that retains the natural goodness of ghee, unlike modern mechanical methods.
Launching Kasutam in 2019 was no easy feat. Bhavesh faced countless hurdles—securing raw materials, setting up production, and marketing the brand with minimal resources. But what worked in his favor was his unwavering belief in the product and a deep commitment to quality. Kasutam’s A2 bilona ghee quickly caught the attention of health-conscious customers looking for alternatives to mass-produced, chemical-laden ghee.
Through word of mouth, digital marketing, and an emphasis on quality and purity, Kasutam gradually grew. Bhavesh was committed to producing ghee that was not only beneficial but also ethical—working closely with local farmers and providing them with fair prices for their milk. This fair trade model quickly earned the trust of his customers.
Today, Kasutam is a thriving business with a turnover of Rs 8 crore, selling premium A2 bilona ghee to customers across India. From his humble beginnings with Rs 3000, Bhavesh now oversees a growing team and an expanding network of suppliers and retailers.
But Bhavesh's journey isn’t just about business—it's about helping people live healthier lives through natural, unadulterated food products. Kasutam continues to focus on sustainability, transparency, and promoting a back-to-basics approach to health and nutrition.
Bhavesh’s story is a powerful reminder that with vision, hard work, and perseverance, anyone can turn their dreams into reality—no matter where they start.
