P.P. Reddy Bio
- A farmer's son, P.P. Reddy founded Megha Engineering Enterprises to build small pipes for municipalities in 1989.
- He soon expanded into building infrastructure projects such as dams, natural gas distribution networks, power plants and roads.
- In 2006, he changed the company's name to Megha Engineering & Infrastructures. His nephew, P.V. Krishna Reddy, who joined him in 1991, runs the company.
- Megha built India's largest lift irrigation project, worth $14 billion, in drought-prone Telangana state. It started operation in 2019.
- Subsidiary Olectra Greentech, which gets its technology from China's BYD, has an order book of 900 buses.
