P.P. Reddy Bio

A farmer's son, P.P. Reddy founded Megha Engineering Enterprises to build small pipes for municipalities in 1989.
He soon expanded into building infrastructure projects such as dams, natural gas distribution networks, power plants and roads.
In 2006, he changed the company's name to Megha Engineering & Infrastructures. His nephew, P.V. Krishna Reddy, who joined him in 1991, runs the company.
Megha built India's largest lift irrigation project, worth $14 billion, in drought-prone Telangana state. It started operation in 2019.
Subsidiary Olectra Greentech, which gets its technology from China's BYD, has an order book of 900 buses.
