Penske has added the all-new Ford E-Transit cargo van to its rental and leasing fleet. The van, which is powered by an electric motor, will help Penske customers move more goods more efficiently and with zero emissions.

The E-Transit is the latest addition to Penske's growing fleet of electric vehicles, which also includes the Tesla Model S, the BMW i3, and the Nissan Leaf. Penske's electric vehicles are available for rent at select locations across the United States.

"As more and more businesses look for ways to reduce their environmental impact, we're proud to offer our customers a fleet of electric vehicles that can help them meet their sustainability goals," said Brian Hard, president of Penske Truck Leasing. "The E-Transit is a game-changer for commercial fleets, and we're excited to add it to our rental and lease offerings."

The E-Transit is equipped with a variety of features that will help customers save time and money, including:

• A range of up to 126 miles on a single charge, making it ideal for local deliveries

• A payload capacity of up to 3,800 pounds, making it perfect for hauling heavy loads

• A top speed of 85 miles per hour, making it capable of keeping up with traffic on the highway

• Fast charging capabilities that allow the van to be recharged in as little as 30 minutes
