A new electric vehicle charging plaza with 144 charge points is to be built in Bavaria, Germany. The project is a joint venture between the state of Bavaria and energy company E.ON, and is part of the state's goal to have one million electric vehicles on the roads by 2030.

The charging plaza will be located in the town of Lauf an der Pegnitz, and is expected to be completed by the end of 2019. It will be the largest electric vehicle charging station in Bavaria, and one of the largest in Germany.

The project is part of Bavaria's "Electric Mobility Offensive" initiative, which aims to increase the number of electric vehicles on the state's roads. The initiative includes a number of measures, such as providing financial incentives for the purchase of electric vehicles, and installing charging infrastructure.

The Bavarian government has set a goal of having one million electric vehicles on the roads by 2030. In order to achieve this, the state is planning to install over 3,000 charging points by 2025.
