The new facility, which is located at the company's engineering centre in Gaydon, Warwickshire, will enable Jaguar Land Rover to replicate the electromagnetic environment of any city in the world.

The facility will enable the company to test the performance of its vehicles' electrical and electronic systems under a range of electromagnetic conditions, including those that may be encountered in different global markets.

Jaguar Land Rover says that the facility will also be used to test the compatibility of its vehicles with a range of aftermarket products, such as mobile phones and bluetooth devices.

The facility is the latest addition to Jaguar Land Rover's expanding engineering centre in Gaydon, which now comprises more than 1.5 million square feet of floor space.
