Electric car owners in the Bay Area now have a new place to charge up, thanks to Fleetsleviton's new EVr Green DC fast-charging station.

The station, located in San Jose, can charge up an electric car in about 30 minutes. It's one of only a handful of such stations in the Bay Area, and it's the first one that's open to the public.

The station is part of a larger effort by Fleetsleviton to make electric cars more convenient for customers. The company has also installed fast-charging stations at its corporate headquarters and at its San Francisco and San Mateo locations.

"The Bay Area is a great market for electric vehicles, and we're excited to be a part of it," said Fleetsleviton CEO Andrew Daga. "Our goal is to make charging an electric car as easy as possible, and this station is a big step in that direction."

The new station is located at the company's San Jose facility, at 2580 Zanker Road. It's open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and it's available to any electric car owner, regardless of whether they're a Fleetsleviton customer.

The station is part of a growing network of fast-charging stations in the Bay Area. Other stations can be found in San Francisco, Oakland, and San Rafael.
