The journey toward Retake 2026 began with the CL Meet, marking the first official step for the 11th edition of the Annual BAMMC Fest at L. S. Raheja College, Santacruz. The meet brought together participating contingents and set the direction for the fest ahead.

The event featured the reveal of the theme Bambai Mosaic, inspired by the many layers of Mumbai. The theme highlights the city’s diversity, creativity, and evolving stories, reflecting the spirit that Retake 2026 aims to celebrate.

Held on 11th November 2025 at Dave and Buster’s, Infiniti Mall, Andheri, the CL Meet offered an immersive experience through impactful visuals and sound, presenting Team Retake’s vision and a glimpse into the fest’s scale.

The meet was supported by Dr. Rashel, the Title Sponsor of Retake 2026, whose association added strength and visibility to the event. Brewy, the beverage partner, contributed to the overall experience with refreshments.

With the fest scheduled for 9th and 10th January at L. S. Raheja College, Santacruz, the CL Meet marked a decisive step in shaping the vision of Retake 2026. The meet established a strong starting point for an edition that aims to bring together talent, creativity, and diverse narratives inspired by Mumbai.

About the College and Retake

L. S. Raheja College of Arts and Commerce, Santacruz, affiliated with the University of Mumbai, has built a strong reputation for its academic programmes in arts, commerce, and media studies. The college places emphasis on experiential learning, encouraging students to apply classroom knowledge through practical exposure, industry interaction, and creative platforms. Among its key academic offerings, the Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia and Mass Communication (BAMMC) programme plays an active role in nurturing skills related to journalism, advertising, digital media, film studies, and content creation.

It provides students with opportunities to engage in media-centric competitions, creative showcases, workshops, and collaborative events that mirror real-world industry environments. Each edition of Retake is designed around a central theme, allowing participants to explore contemporary narratives through multiple creative formats.

By combining academic learning with hands-on execution, Retake continues to contribute meaningfully to the college’s culture of creativity, leadership, and professional development.
