In response to the emergence of ChatGPT, a chatbot that can generate text in response to prompts, universities and professors across the country are changing up their teaching methods. This includes more oral tests, team work, and handwritten assignments instead of typewritten ones. Administrators are also looking into updating their academic integrity policies to include generative A.I., while students are using the technology for brainstorming and debugging coding problem sets.
