Sony Network Communications has invested in Startale Labs to develop a blockchain infrastructure for web3 and the metaverse. The venture, called Sony Network Communications Labs, is based in Singapore and will be used to create groundbreaking use cases and help usher in the web3 era. President Jun Watanabe believes that Sony has great potential in the metaverse and is committed to developing a global infrastructure that supports it.
