The Mumbai monsoons brought with them not just rain, but a thunderous return of Wilson College’s most anticipated media fest  Polaris 2025. After a year long pause, Polly the Purple Cow made her sparkling comeback, and so did the heartbeat of the fest: the Organising Committee.

Polaris sparkled with glitter when Polly entered the chat with a bedazzled tone. Lights, Camera but wheres the action without our OC. Freshers were still settling in when they got pulled into Polaris’s glittery tornado deadlines, departments, dress codes and a whole lot of excitement. Were we signed off for the day either our signature BAMMC anthem.

CL meet took place on 12th July, & raised the bar for Polaris 2025. Where the CLs arrived with timeless aesthetics, classic charms and lasting impressions. This unfolded the second chapter of Polaris with the auctions and the theme reveal. The scene turned cinematic with intense bidding wars, and lightning-fast games. The drama? Off the charts. The noise? Pure Bollywood. The stakes? Nothing short of legendary. This wasn’t just a gathering it was the teaser to a blockbuster in the making. CC codes inspired by icons like Raj Kapoor, Lata Mangeshkar, and Dev Anand were up for grabs, and suddenly it felt less like a college event and more like a cinematic showdown. But the biggest reveal? The theme of Polaris 2025: Apocrea: Is AI killing creativity? a world where apocalypse meets creativity and humans and AI unite to create magic.

But if there's one thing Polaris masters, it's the art of the unexpected: enter, THE FLASHMOB. The music dropped. Dancers seemed to appear from nowhere. In a heartbeat, the quadrangle sparked to life hips swayed, hands clapped, voices soared. It wasn’t rehearsed; it was unmistakably Polaris.

So yes, Polaris 2025 has arrived and it's not just stepping in. It's sprinting and throwing glitter in the air while doing it.
