When Carol arrives at an enigmatic wormhole that has a connection to a Kree rebel, her abilities become intertwined with those of Kamala Khan, a fervent admirer of superheroes from Jersey City, who is also known as Ms Marvel. Additionally, Carol's estranged niece, now a S.A.B.E.R. astronaut, Captain Monica Rambeau, gets caught up in the turmoil.

As the story progresses, Carol, Kamala, and Monica must band together and navigate through the challenges they face, using their unique strengths and abilities to bring order to the chaos. The three characters' paths converge, and they realize that they must work together to prevent a catastrophic event from occurring, which could have catastrophic consequences for the universe.

Throughout the film, the characters struggle with their struggles and inner grudges while battling external forces. The story delves into themes of family, loyalty, and the price of power, as the characters fight to save not only themselves but also the universe they call home.
