Wallbox plans to establish an EVSE manufacturing facility in Arlington, Texas to serve the North American market. The new factory will produce Wallbox’s line of residential and commercial EVSE products, including the company’s recently launched NextCharge line of wall-mounted and floor-standing DC fast chargers.

“The United States is the world’s second-largest market for electric vehicles and is expected to continue to grow rapidly in the coming years,” said Wallbox CEO Enric Asunción. “As we expand our presence in North America, it is essential that we have a local manufacturing base to serve our customers in the region.”

The new facility will be located near Wallbox’s U.S. headquarters in Dallas, Texas, and is expected to be operational by the end of 2019.

“We are very excited to be expanding our operations in the United States and to be part of the growing EV market in North America,” said Asunción. “This new facility will allow us to better serve our customers in the region and to continue to grow our business in the coming years.”
