According to a report from Teslarati, the Tesla Model 3 will get the CCS Combo 2 plug in Europe. This is the same plug that is used by the Tesla Model S and Model X in Europe.
The CCS Combo 2 plug is a type 2 connector with an additional DC connector. The DC connector is used for high-speed charging. The CCS Combo 2 plug is the standardcharging connector for the European market.
The CCS Combo 2 plug will reportedly be available as an option on the Tesla Model 3 in Europe. It is not clear if the CCS Combo 2 plug will be standard on the Tesla Model 3 in Europe.
The Tesla Model 3 is currently available with a standard Type 2 connector in Europe. The Tesla Model 3 can be charged at up to 22kW with a Type 2 connector. With the CCS Combo 2 plug, the Tesla Model 3 can be charged at up to 150kW.
The CCS Combo 2 plug will reportedly be available on the Tesla Model 3 in Europe in 2020. It is not clear if the CCS Combo 2 plug will be available on the Tesla Model 3 in other markets.
