TOKYO, Jan. 9, 2020 (Press Release) - SABIC today announced the commercial launch of LNP* ELCRALOY TC4040G40, a new resin for battery modules used in electric vehicles (EVs). The product provides superior dimensional stability and a very low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE), as well as excellent surface finish. LNP ELCRALOY TC4040G40 also has very low moisture absorption. This provides outstanding reliability for battery packs, which are required to operate in a wide range of environmental conditions.
