Roush Cleantech, provider of alternative fuel solutions for the transportation industry, has unveiled its electric Ford F 650 truck. The truck is powered by two electric motors that produce a combined 402 horsepower and 1,026 lb-ft of torque. The battery pack is composed of 26 battery modules, each containing 12 volt lithium-ion batteries, for a total of 312 kWh. The truck has a range of up to 230 miles on a single charge.

The electric Ford F 650 is part of Roush Cleantech's line of electric commercial vehicles, which also includes the electric Ford F-150 and the electric Ford Transit Connect. Roush Cleantech is a subsidiary of Roush Enterprises, which is best known for its high-performance vehicles and parts.

The electric Ford F 650 is aimed at the commercial truck market, and its debut comes as the transportation sector is under increasing pressure to reduce emissions. The truck will be available for order in the fourth quarter of 2020.
