Nissan has released the first photos and details of their new 2022 Ariya electric SUV. The Ariya is an all-new model from Nissan, and it looks to be a very impressive EV.

The Ariya is powered by two electric motors, one on each axle. This gives the Ariya all-wheel drive capability. The electric motors produce a total of 217 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque. Nissan says the Ariya has a range of up to 300 miles on a single charge.

The Ariya is available in both two and four-wheel drive configurations. It also has three different battery size options. The standard battery is 60 kWh, while the larger options are 63 kWh and 87 kWh.

Nissan has also loaded the Ariya up with tech features. It has standard ProPilot Assist, which is Nissan's semi-autonomous driving system. It also has an optional e-4ORCE all-wheel drive system. This system is similar to Tesla's Model S P100D.

The Ariya is scheduled to go on sale in Japan in late 2021. It will then be released in other markets, including the United States, in early 2022.
