Evgos, the electric vehicle (EV) fast-charging network operator, has announced that its network has doubled in size in the past eight months. The company now has a total of 8,000 charging points across 2,000 locations in the United States and Canada.
The company has also installed its first DC fast-charging station in Europe, in Amsterdam. This is in addition to the 50 AC fast-charging stations that the company has installed in the Netherlands.
In the past eight months, the company has installed over 1,000 new charging points, including 800 in the United States and 200 in Canada. The company has also added new features to its existing stations, such as the ability to charge two vehicles at the same time.
The company plans to continue expanding its network in the coming months, with a target of 10,000 charging points by the end of 2020. This will include the installation of new stations in the United Kingdom, Germany, and France.
