Arrival, a U.K.-based EV startup, has revealed its new electric bus. The company says the bus will have a range of up to 350 miles on a single charge.

The bus, which is still in the prototype stage, is said to be able to recharge in under 30 minutes. Arrival says the bus will be "affordable to operate and maintain."

The company is aiming to produce the buses in volume by 2019. It has already secured orders from a number of major cities, including London, Frankfurt, and Oslo.

Arrival's electric bus is just one of a number of new electric vehicles that are being developed by startups. Others include the Tesla Model 3, the Faraday Future FF91, and the Lucid Air.

The race to develop electric vehicles is being driven by a number of factors, including stricter emissions regulations and a desire to reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
