Argentina's leading electric bus manufacturer, Equip, has unveiled its new electric bus powered by a Zed Powertrain. The bus uses a lithium-ion battery to power the electric motor and can travel up to 190 kilometers with a single charge.
The bus was unveiled at the Buenos Aires International Motor Show and is the first of its kind in Latin America. The bus is also equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and USB charging ports.
Equip's CEO, Pablo Almiron, said that the bus is part of the company's commitment to "providing sustainable and efficient transportation solutions."
The bus will begin operating in the city of Buenos Aires in the coming weeks.
