The two companies will collaborate to develop an ecosystem that will enable autonomous electric trucks to operate safely and efficiently on public roads.

  • Chargepoint is the world's largest network of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, with more than 100,000 charging locations across the globe.
  • Gatik is a leading provider of autonomous vehicle (AV) solutions for retail and logistics companies.

The two companies will collaborate to develop an ecosystem that will enable autonomous electric trucks to operate safely and efficiently on public roads.

This ecosystem will include a network of fast-charging stations designed specifically for electric trucks, as well as a cloud-based data and analytics platform to help optimize route planning and fleet management.

"We are excited to partner with Chargepoint to enable the rollout of autonomous electric trucks at scale," said Gautam Narang, co-founder and CEO of Gatik.

"This is a critical step in our mission to revolutionize the transportation of goods and provide a more sustainable solution for the last mile."

"The arrival of autonomous electric trucks is a major milestone in the transition to a clean transportation future, and Chargepoint is proud to be a part of it," said Pasquale Romano, CEO of Chargepoint.

"We look forward to working with Gatik to create an ecosystem that will enable these trucks to operate safely and efficiently on our roads."
