Taarangan 2025: The 18th Multiverse of Dreams, Talents, and Energy

Thakur College of Science & Commerce (TCSC), Mumbai, is set to host the 18th edition of its flagship annual cultural festival, Taarangan – Bringing Stars to Life, from 18th to 20th December 2025 on its campus. This year’s edition embraces the powerful and imaginative theme “Multiverse-k-Mahanayak”, symbolising the hero within every individual. The festival is presented with Kosmos Developers as the Title Partner, in association with Raj Realty as the Associate Partner, and promises to be grander, brighter, and more impactful than ever before.

Over the years, Taarangan has evolved into one of Mumbai’s most awaited intercollegiate cultural festivals, and its 18th edition continues this legacy by celebrating youth, creativity, and artistic diversity. The festival offers more than 12 diverse event categories, providing a dynamic platform for students to showcase their skills across Performing Arts, Literary Arts, Gaming, Sports, Culinary Arts, Financial Management, and several other competitive and creative domains.

Adding prestige to the event is the presence of renowned judges and celebrated personalities from the Indian entertainment industry, including Bhuvan Bam, Akshay Kumar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Vikrant Massey, Kartik Aaryan, Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Shahid Kapoor, and Kiara Advani. Their association further reinforces Taarangan’s standing as a culturally significant and nationally recognised college festival.

A special highlight of Taarangan 2025 is within the Performing Arts segment, where Abhijeet Sawant, the acclaimed singer and India’s first Indian Idol winner, will judge the Solo Singing competition. His presence brings exceptional credibility and inspiration to aspiring performers, underlining the festival’s commitment to excellence and mentorship.

The Super 18 edition also features a carefully curated lineup of star performances spread across all three days of the festival. Day One will witness soulful performances by Aasmani Music alongside Rishabh Panchal, the iPop Star runner-up known for popular tracks such as “Dhund La.” Their musical showcase is expected to create a memorable opening with melodious and emotionally resonant performances.

Day Two will be dominated by BassHunk, the renowned DJ and music producer celebrated for his high-energy remixes and crowd-engaging sets, promising an electrifying atmosphere. Day Three will conclude the festival with an energetic performance by DJ Olly Esse, whose pulsating beats and dynamic rhythms are set to transform the venue into a vibrant dance arena, ensuring a powerful and celebratory finale.

As Taarangan marks its milestone 18th edition, the theme “Multiverse-k-Mahanayak” reflects a deeper vision of recognising the heroism, individuality, and potential within every participant and performer.
