If you're looking for an environmentally friendly motorcycle, Tarform's electric motorcycles are made from recyclable and biodegradable materials.
The company, which is based in Brooklyn, New York, says its bikes are "the world's first luxury electric motorcycles." They're also said to be "the lightest, most powerful and technologically advanced electric motorcycles on the market."
Tarform says its bikes are made from "the highest quality aerospace-grade composites," which includes recycled carbon fiber, Kevlar, and fiberglass. The company also uses plant-based fibers, such as flax and hemp, in its bikes.
The Tarform electric motorcycle has a range of up to 200 miles (320 kilometers) on a single charge. The company says the bike can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour (0 to 100 kilometers per hour) in 3.2 seconds.
The bikes start at $24,000, and the company is currently taking reservations for the first production run, which is set to begin in 2020.
