Karma Automotive, the American luxury electric vehicle manufacturer, unveiled its E-Flex Platform electric vehicle architecture at the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
The E-Flex Platform is an electric vehicle architecture designed to be flexible and scalable, allowing manufacturers to quickly and easily develop a wide range of electric vehicles. The platform can be configured to support a variety of body styles, including sedans, coupes, SUVs, and even pickup trucks.
The E-Flex Platform is based on a modular battery pack design that can be scaled up or down to meet the needs of a specific vehicle. The platform can also be configured to support a variety of charging options, including Level 1 (120V), Level 2 (240V), and DC fast charging (480V).
The E-Flex Platform was developed in partnership with a number of suppliers, including LG Chem, Continental, Bosch, and Siemens.
