The Chanje V8100 electric vans, which have a range of up to 150 miles, will be used in commercial applications by Ryder customers in California. Ryder anticipates the vans will displace approximately 18,000 gallons of fuel annually and will eliminate approximately 196,000 pounds of carbon emissions annually.
"Our commercial customers are focused on improving their sustainability performance and reducing their carbon footprint, and we are proud to add these Chanje electric vans to our fleet to help them meet their goals," said Ryder Chairman and CEO Robert Sanchez.
