Indian Bank Stocks Show Widest NSE-BSE Closing-Price Gaps in Decades After New Closing-Auction System
Several Indian bank stocks ended at sharply different prices on the National Stock Exchange and BSE after Thursday's closing auction, with IndusInd Bank showing a nearly ₹33 gap between the two exchanges — its widest closing-price divergence in more than two decades.

The episode is intensifying scrutiny of one of India's biggest recent stock-market microstructure reforms, which replaced the decades-old volume-weighted average closing-price methodology for more than 200 derivative-eligible stocks with a separate auction designed to determine the official closing price.
