Mumbai: December 15, 2022: Techarc, the new age technology market research firm, today hosted a webinar titled "The Future of Ed Tech." The one-hour informative webinar discussed the various challenges faced by the Ed Tech sector and its relevance to our educational system in the current market scenario.
The session was moderated by Faisal Kawoosa, Chief Analyst at Techarc, and was attended by an illustrious panel of educators and Ed Tech experts. Professor Ayaz Moon, Dean Research, Islamic University of Science and Technology, Mubeen Masudi, Co-Founder- Wise Online Teaching app, Professor Rishi Bhardwaj, Mahindra University, and Dr. Ashwini Kumar Sharma attended the event.
The webinar kicked off with an introduction on Ed Tech by Dr. Ashwini Kumar Sharma. He highlighted the importance of technology in the education system by saying, “Leveraging the right technology infrastructure and tools should facilitate the correct delivery of knowledge to students”.

Mubeen Masudi, Co-Founder of the Wise Online Teaching app, spoke about the Ed Tech industry at large. "Ed Tech should not be viewed solely as a pandemic-triggered technology," he said.
Ed Tech is expanding, particularly in areas where students have few options. Sharing his views on the Ed tech growth, Faisal Kawoosa, Chief Analyst, Techarc, said, “The technology-led e-learning will keep re-orienting itself as per the market needs”.
The webinar hosted by Techarc yielded some intriguing results. Professor Ayaz Moon, Dean Research, Islamic University of Science and Technology, shared his thoughts on the role of education technology in society. "Ed Tech should not be viewed as a replacement for traditional educational institutions," Moon said. “The idea is to empower the teacher with the right technology and rich teaching tools to educate students".
Professor Rishi Bhardwaj of Mahindra University concluded the session by emphasizing the importance of collective intelligence in the technology and content domains for the Ed Tech sector. He made some valid points about the role of language as a communication tool, emphasizing the importance of correct content and support from the government and large corporations in creating an ecosystem for the Ed Tech sector to thrive in today's world.
