The event featured discussions on contemporary security challenges, including terrorism, cyber threats, humanitarian crises, and asymmetric warfare. Leaders emphasized the need for unity of purpose, innovation, and coordination among nations to improve the effectiveness of United Nations peacekeeping operations.
A key highlight of the conclave was the demonstration of India’s indigenous military technologies designed for modern peacekeeping missions. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh reaffirmed India’s commitment to a rules-based international order and the importance of reforms within the UN system to make it more inclusive and representative of contemporary global realities. The conclave also provided a platform for sharing best practices, strengthening partnerships, and fostering dialogue on improving operational readiness and mission effectiveness.
By hosting the UNTCC Chiefs’ Conclave, India reinforced its position as a leading contributor to UN peacekeeping efforts and highlighted its capabilities in supporting global security initiatives. The conclave is expected to influence future strategies for UN peace operations, emphasizing innovation, inclusivity, and multilateral cooperation.
Overall, the conclave underscored India’s commitment to international peace and security, while demonstrating its leadership in fostering collaboration among nations to address global challenges in a rapidly evolving security environment.
