Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has introduced the GVM142 series of auxiliary motors, designed specifically for electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrids.

With a peak power of 142kW, the GVM142 series is Parker's most powerful auxiliary motor to date. It is available in two versions:

  • The GVM142-400, with a peak torque of 400 Nm
  • The GVM142-600, with a peak torque of 600 Nm

Both versions of the motor are water cooled and have an integrated cooling fan.

The GVM142 series has a number of features that make it ideal for EVs and hybrids, including:

  • High Efficiency: The GVM142 series is designed for high efficiency, with a permanent magnet synchronous reluctance motor design that offers up to 97% efficiency.
  • High Power Density: The GVM142 series has a power density of up to 9 kW/kg, making it one of the most compact and lightweight auxiliary motors on the market.
  • Flexible Installation: The GVM142 series can be installed in a variety of locations, thanks to its compact size and integrated cooling fan.
  • Integrated Controller: The GVM142 series comes with an integrated controller, which simplifies installation and reduces the overall system cost.
