FinZard 2025: A Spectacular Fusion of Finance, Strategy, and Entertainment
The Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Markets) (BFM) department of L. S. Raheja College of Arts and Commerce (Autonomous), Mumbai successfully hosted the sixth edition of FinZard, its flagship interdepartmental financial fest. The entire fest took place under the guidance of Ms. Divya Kanchan, (BFM Coordinator) and Mr. Tejas Pednekar (Assistant Professor). The two-day extravaganza, FinZard seamlessly blended finance, intellectual challenges, and entertainment, drawing enthusiastic participation from multiple departments, on the grounds of L. S. Raheja College. The vision of FinZard is to bridge the gap between theoretical financial concepts and real-world applications, ensuring that students gain hands-on exposure to the dynamic financial sector. The mission is to empower young minds, enhance their problem-solving abilities, and create a platform for holistic development through innovation and collaboration. From stock market simulations and investment challenges to interactive quizzes and creative competitions, the fest ensured a perfect blend of knowledge and enjoyment.
Apart from finance-based events, FinZard also included lighthearted and fun activities that fostered a spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition among students. The enthusiastic participation from various departments elevated the fest’s energy, making it a memorable experience for all attendees.
The success of FinZard 2025 was a testament to the dedication and coordination of its organizing team. Under the able leadership of Chairperson Ms. Riya Nandu, the fest saw exceptional teamwork from various departments, including Digital Media, Anchoring, Events, Public Relations, Registrations and Logistics. The Core Advisories, Mr. Rohan Rawat and Mr. Sahil Thakur, played a crucial role in ensuring smooth executions. With yet another successful edition, FinZard has once again set a benchmark for interdepartmental fests, proving to be an invaluable learning platform for students. The fest continues to grow, with an ever-evolving lineup of innovative events that inspire students to think beyond textbooks and embrace the dynamic world of finance.
